Conditions
Trail 7 and the ridge ( hill) portion of trail 2 will be closed due to poor trail conditions.
The remainder of the site should be groomed tomorrow morning in time for lessons.

Snow has arrived !
We plan to roll trails 2-6 tonight in preparation for the adult pot luck evening.
Please stay off trail 7 and the ridge portion of trail 2 (icy hills).
There will be no trackset tonight.
The site should be fully groomed for lessons tomorrow.

Trails Closed until further notice
Due to the rain/warm spell and upcoming freeze, the training field is un-skiable and the inner trails are icy.
The trails are closed . An announcement will be posted once they are re-opened.

Tuesday Jan 15th-KN Trail Conditions
All trails were frozen hard as a result of our recent thaw & freeze cycle. On Tuesday, Jan-15th the Training Field and all of the south end 1 series trails (1, 1e, 1d, 1c, 1b and 1a as far as the Vail) were conditioned and groomed and are now in very good condition for skate skiing. However, no classic tracks have been set yet. All other trails north of the Vail (2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7) are frozen hard and not ideal for skiing until they have been conditioned and groomed. Note that the YMCA parking lots and the connecting roads are completely ice covered and treacherous for walking.

The site is groomed and all trails open today.
It is soft and granular/wet, with rare bare spots.
Be careful in the parking lot as there are icy spots.
